On the occasion of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2026, CARE Bangladesh, through the Women Lead in Emergencies (WLiE) Project, partnered with JAGO NARI, the Barguna District Administration, and Upazila Administrations to promote inclusive disaster preparedness and community resilience across Barguna Sadar, Patharghata, and Taltali.
Through rallies, discussion sessions, and disaster preparedness demonstrations, community members highlighted the importance of early warning systems, preparedness, emergency response, and coordinated local action.
